Our Goal

• Increase community awareness of the dynamics of
  public school education in order to assist with
  improving the quality of education in South
  Dallas.

Our Objectives

•  
• To partner with local businesses, television
  and radio stations to provide media outlets such
  as billboards, PSAs and advertisements, which
  will focus on issues affecting public education
  in South Dallas
•  
• To inform parents, schools and community
  members of social and educational assets/services
  available in South Dallas
• To Kick-off Community Education Forum
• To increase participation in Coalition efforts
  to improve the quality of education in South
  
• Dallas

Indicators of Success

• Successful partnership with three local
  businesses, an advertising agency, two radio and
  one television station
• The publication of a comprehensive resource guide
  to distributed to parents, schools and community
  members.
• Attendance of a diverse group of community
  stakeholders at Education Forum  
• Increase S.D.C.A.C. Education Task Force
  participation by 30 within 6 months
