- Skill Shown Used every small detail to make it
look real - A wart was found on Duke Cosimo I and so a wart
is found on his sculpture - Cellini was a great example for future artists,
that every detail should be displayed to give it
the best quality

- He was both!!!
- He was in a fight, led to him being banned from
Florence. - Killed Phillibert (Prince of Orange)
- He also killed another man in 1529
- Had a disagreement with a man who knew the Pope
- Some thought it may have been the Popes son
11Role in the Renaissance
- Had a large influence in France, due to the
Fountainebleau School - He also had influence in Italy because he made
pieces of art for the Pope, and was native to
that region - He succeeded in many forms of art
- A lot of people at the time focused only on one
form - Made pieces for prominent people

- Could use different mediums
- Used Gold, successfully in the Salt Cellar
- Used Bronze, Marble, Paint, he even wrote, and
designed buildings - When he died in 1571He left the world with an
idea that a artist can succeed with more than one
style or medium
