Created a Collaborative Culture..We Changed our
Attitude and our Behaviors
  • High Expectations for ALL students.
  • Higher level thinking.
  • Shared Responsibility between student, teacher
    and parents about learning.
  • Analyzing our instruction and the lessons that we
    teach to improve our instruction.
  • Facilitating Cooperative Learning / Independent
    Learning
  • Creating a framework for student learning.
(objectives are visible and spoken, modeling is
    present, application and questioning occurs,
    assessment of student performance, data
collection, interventions as needed and follow up
    occurs)
  • Our Passion is Present as we model life-long
    learning. (staff
meetings, study groups, CIP, OISM, team meetings)

Most children learn early in school that
mistakes are signs of weakness instead of data to
use. Saphire Gower

Our expectations for students turn into
self-fulfilling prophesies. Maybe every school
needs a person in charge of exceeding
expectations. Saphire and Gower
How High Are Your Expectation? How will your
children meet those expectations?
