12The Occasion- False Teaching
28Be careful not to let anyone rob you of
this faith through a shallow misleading
philosophy. Such a person follows human
traditions the world's way of doing things
rather than following Christ. 218Let no
one who delights in false humility the
worship of angels tell you that you don't deserve
a prize. Such a person, whose sinful mind fills
him with arrogance, gives endless details of the
visions he has seen. 223These things look
like wisdom with their self-imposed worship,
false humility, harsh treatment of the body.
But they have no value for holding back the
constant desires of your corrupt nature.

- every encumbrance, and the sin which so easily
- entangles us, and let us run with endurance the
- race that is set before us, 2fixing our eyes on
Jesus, - the author and perfecter of faith, who for the
joy set - before Him endured the cross, despising the
shame, - and has sat down at the right hand of the throne
of - God. Hebrews 121-2 NASB
