Characteristic
Their bodies are round, soft, and baglike.
It has a head that extends outward, forming eight
long arms. Each arm is lined along one side with
suction cups that are used to capture and hold
food. Their bodies are slightly larger than a
football. An octopus can change its color and
its skin texture to hide.

Habitat
Some of the largest octopuses live in the
Pacific Ocean and have arms that reach 16 feet in
length. They are shy, curious, and hides in rocks
all day. At night octopus slips out of his home
and explores the rocky sea floor.

Prey
Their diets consist of crabs, scallops, and
other small animals.
Predator
Whales, sharks, and other larger animals
prey upon the devilfish.

Octopus "Devilfish"
Streaking through the water with a speed beknown
to few Strong and deadly devilfish that swims
the ocean blue Rows of suckers nestle in eight
arms of snaky length Tentacles that crush its
prey with unbelieving strength

Eyes like stone with blackish rims that standout
from his head Golden centers warning If I hug
you, youll be dead He floats below the
surface with a Patient, hellish glee He surly is
the devilfish, the demon of the sea.
