Title: Grand Canyon

1
Grand Canyon
  • By Beth Wacker

2
  • Look around, what do you see?
  • You are surrounded by rock structures that reach
to the skies. In midst of the silence you hear
water rushing past your toes? Where are you?
There is nothing but rocks and mountains as far
    as you can see.

3
  • You spot a person in the distance?
  • Who is she?
  • You walk towards her and you are greeted warmly.
She is a Native American woman who does not
speak English. You learn that this woman is
Havasupai and is one of the members of the only
tribe that still lives in the Grand Canyon.

4
  • That is where you are!
  • At the bottom of the Grand Canyon.
  • Out of nowhere you see a man walking toward you.
He tells you that in order to get out of the
bottom of the Grand Canyon you must learn all
about it by planning a tour.
  • Are you ready to take on that mission?
