interaction between the teacher and student takes
place electronically. Electronic communication
may take the form of audio, video, e-mail, chat
and the Internet. Our goal is to provide the best
possible alternative learning environment for

traditional courses in subjects such as English,
Math, Science, and History.

Students complete the courses online through
Blackboard.com and other resources in the comfort
of their own home and around their own schedule.

Any student in Prince William County who is
currently enrolled in grades 9-12.

Students must have access to a PC, the internet
and email. They must have a desire to learn and
the self-discipline to be able to work
independently and succeed.

School in lieu of Summer School.

Guidance office of the home base school.

the application and all approved students will be
enlisted into the program.
