What is a PFD you Ask?

• PFD is short for Personal Floatation Device,
  which is commonly known as a Life Jacket.
  
• You never know when you might fall out or tip
  over unexpectedly. This could make drowning a
  very likely possibility even for the best swimmer.

There are Many different Kinds of PFDs to suit
the Individual and their safely needs
Find one that fits well

Never Stand in a Canoe

• If your Canoe is in the water and you try to
  stand up..there is a good chance you will tip
  and go for an unexpected swim.

Do you think it is a good idea to enter the canoe
by jumping?
You should always enter a canoe very slow and
cautiously

Watch Out

• If you are not paying attention, who knows where
  you will end up!!!

A calm river can become violent very fast

• It is important to only bring the proper gear
  along

And always keep and extra paddle in the canoe
just in case you loose one
