Some Problems
  • Individual IRT distributions are rarely reported.
  • Response rates and efficiency ratios (which may
    be derived from model parameters) are the usual
    DV.
  • Even when reported, IRTs are usually binned.
  • Model should be fitted to cumulative plots of
    individual subjects.
