13Non-University/External Scholarships
- If External award is to be paid directly to PSU,
send a copy of the award letter to the Bursars
Office. - The award letter must include
- Students First, Middle and Last Name
- Awarding Agencys Name, address telephone .
- Amount to be awarded and for which semester(s).
- And, the award must not have any eligibility
restrictions on it - Dependency upon grades
- Financial need
- Scholarship will appear on bill as a memo item
representing an anticipated, guaranteed payment
(if appropriate information is provided)

- If award is paid directly to the student, you
must - Endorse it over to PSU
- Label it a scholarship payment
- Send it to the PSU Bursars Office
- Enclose the awarding agencys name, phone number
and address. - NOTE All company checks will automatically be
processed as scholarships unless accompanying
documentation describes it otherwise.
