Personal Life

• Grew up in Bellingham, Washington
• Is more interested in art then in science
• Wants to become a teacher
• Engaged to another physicist that is working on
  his PhD at UCLA
• Enjoys music and once played cello and she tried
  guitar and piano
• Likes the UCLA Bruins and Seattle Mariners

Education

• Went to Occidental College in Los Angeles a
  liberal arts school
• Studied abroad in Nepal
• After graduating worked at Northrop Grumman where
  she worked on many sensor projects
• Then decided to go back to college at UCLA for
  space physics, and her Masters Degree
• Then later switched in fluid dynamics

Current Job

• Went to work at Northrop where she continued
  working with calibrating and testing sensors
• Has some experience teaching at Occidental
  College
• She currently works on design, construction, and
  testing of sensors and instruments used in both
  space and aircraft environment
