Mount Rushmore
Facts
Gutzon Borglum was the sculptor. (1867-1941)
Mount Rushmore is in the Black Hills of South
Dakota. It was started on October 4, 1927 and
ended on October 31, 1941.

Statue of Liberty
The world famous Statue of Liberty standing in
New York Harbor was built in France. The statue
was presented to the U.S. symbolizing the
friendship between the U.S. and France.

Devils Tower
The nearly vertical land formation known as
Devils Tower rises 1,267 feet above a winding
river. Once hidden below the earths surface
,erosion has stripped away the softer rock.
