  • The Dukan Diet is the famous French diet . It
    'was created by an expert nutritionist and has
    had positive results on people who tried it .
  • Obviously, many experts have recommended the
    diet, but many nutritionists disagree with the
    choices of the Dukan Diet.

  • The weak point of this diet is the deprivation
    from many foods that have lots of calories or
    contain too many carbohydrates and fats. But we
    all know that we are looking for a diet and we
    cannot give up at the first difficulty.

This diet consists in four phases, each phase may
take 5 to 10 days
  • Phase One Attack! During this time you begin to
    follow the Dukan diet, choosing these foods (and
    leaving all the others) white meat, red meat,
    fish of all kinds, milk, eggs, dried beef,
    protein powder and all other foods containing
    proteins. This is not a protein diet, but the
    first phase of this diet is dedicated exclusively
    to proteins.

  • Phase Two Cruise! No, do not leave on vacation
    ,but enrich your diet with some cruise food.
    What foods are we talking about? Obviously
    vegetables such as tomatoes, mushrooms, beans,
    salad (not too seasoned) and everything that you
    eat when you are cruising or when you follow
    low-calorie diets. The second phase will allow
    you to see big improvements to your body.

  • Phase Three The Consolidation. To avoid taking
    what you have already lost the Dukan diet
    recommends to add fruits and give yourself two
    full meals per week. In what sense? You can eat
    whatever you want, even foods with lots of
    calories or fat. This should not become a habit,
    but you will have to consider a "reward" for all
    the sacrifices made so far!

  • Phase Four Stabilization. At this point, your
    diet is almost completed and you can go to eat
    all that you used to eat before starting the
    diet, but you will have to keep one day a week
    full of proteins, possibly on Monday (the day
    which is usually busiest). We recommend to eat
    only chicken for lunch and 200-300 grams of fish
    for dinner (with green salad). If you will not
    take back the weight that you lost after the
    phase 4, the Dukan diet has succeed.

Foods
  • Lean beef, lean ham, rabbit, veal, chicken liver,
    chicken breast, turkey, fish, seafood, fat free
    yogurt, low fat cottage cheese, skim milk, egg
    whites, tofu ,green vegetables, onions, herbs and
    spices, mustard, sugar-free ketchup, oat bran,
    coffee, tea.
