Joe Szlamnik Is Presently Pursuing Masters In
Counseling Psychology

Joe Szlamnik is a Certified Drug and Alcohol
Counselor through the California Certification
Board of Alcohol and Drug Rehabilitation
Counselors. He has been serving as a Vocational
Specialist for Hyde Street Community Services in
San Francisco, CA, since April 2009.

Joe is also an addiction specialist through The
Breining Institute. Joe received his Bachelor of
Arts degree in History in 1984, from San
Francisco State University, San Francisco, CA. In
2002, he completed his Masters in Organizational
Management from the Graduate School of Business
at the University of Phoenix. He is currently
pursuing a Master's in Counseling Psychology with
an emphasis in marriage and family therapy, at
the University of San Francisco.

Joe Szlamnik served as an Insurance Associate at
Chris Di Giacomo Insurance Agency in San
Francisco from 2004-2005. In addition to this, he
owned the Farmers Insurance Agency in Burlingame,
CA, in 2003. He earned a Drug and Alcohol Studies
Certificate by City College of San Francisco in
2010. He is a keen humanitarian and strongly
believes in working for the upliftment of the
underprivileged.

He has significantly contributed to various
charities like Just Cause, American Heart
Association, The Salvation Army, Hyde Street
Community Services, American Leukemia Society,
The Mended Hearts Association through Kaiser
Permanente, and The AIDS Walk.

About Joe Szlamnik Since 1997, Joe Szlamnikhas
been actively supporting public service. He is
presently working as a Vocational Specialist for
the Hyde Street Community Services. He is a
certified Drug and Alcohol Counselor through the
California Certification Board of Alcohol and
Drug Rehabilitation Counselors.
