• Arabic word Ibadah? It comes from the root word
  Abd which means, following His commandment.
  Many people have a misconception that Salaah
  prayer is the only form of Ibadah. Salaah is one
  of the high forms of Ibadah -But it is the not
  the only form of Ibadah. Whatever commandments of
  Allah (SWT) -if you are following them you are
  doing Ibadah. If you abstain from prohibited your
  doing Ibadah example abstaining from drinking
  Alcohol, if you are honest in your business, you
  are doing worship of Allah (SWT), If you love
  your neighbors, If you abstain from back biting,
  if you are kind to our parents etc
