  have been greatly reduced due to loss of river
  habitat.

  smallmouth bass, which do well in clearer lake
  habitat, have flourished in the present reservoir
  environment.

So where is The Mekong River?

• The Mekong River whose source is in Qinghai, runs
  through Tibet, Yunnan, Myanmar, Laos, Thailand,
  Cambodia and ends in Vietnam. It is the 11th
  longest river in the world, the 12th longest by
  volume, and at its widest point is 600k wide.
