TASK 1 wanted poster

• Select a character from Harry Potter and the
  Chamber of Secrets. Make sure everyone in your
  house chooses a different character.
  
• Use either Publisher or Printshop to create a
  Missing Person Poster for your character.
  
• Remember to include Name, Address, Physical
  Description (Eyes, Hair, Height, Weight,
  Clothing), Special Features, Occupation, Last
  Seen, Habits, Contact Details, Reward and a
  Picture of your character (draw and colour it,
  then scan it onto your poster).
• Print your Poster on cardboard.

TASK 2 report card

• Design a Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and
  Wizardry Report Card, using a table in Word.
  
• Remember to include Name, Year, Class, Teacher,
  Description of Codes used, Subjects, Grades
  Comments and the Hogwarts Logo.
  
• Complete the Report Card for a character from
  Harry Potter.
  
• Print it out.

TASK 3 sociogram

• Create a Sociogram using the names of the Harry
  Potter characters arranged around Harry.
  
• Use arrows to connect the characters and show
  the direction of the relationship.
  
• Write brief statements to label the nature of the
  relationship.
  
• Use bold arrows for stated labels and dotted
  arrows for inferred labels.

• Use your work from Tasks 1, 2, 3 or 4, to write a
  Character Description (approximately 300 words).
  
• Choose any of the characters which you have
  studied so far.
  
• Present your Character Description in any format
  you wish.

TASK 6 BROCHURE

• Use Publisher to design a brochure for a new
  student at Hogwarts either the real one or our
  Abergowrie Campus.
  
• Print it out when completed.

• Create a Table using Word.
• Develop your own Harry Potter Dictionary,
  including 50 words and meanings from the Books.
  
• Print your Table.
• Design a cover and publish it into a Harry Potter
  Dictionary for your houses Common Room.

TASK 8 Plot profile

• A Plot Profile is a combination of a time line
  and a rating scale.
  
• Each major incident is summarised and listed and
  then rated for excitement.
  
• Work in pairs, to determine between 15-20 main
  events in Harry Potter and the Chamber of
  Secrets.
  
• Create a Line Graph using Excel, to represent
  your Plot Profile on the events.
  
• See the 3 Little Pigs Profile on the left for
  an example.
  
• Print out your finished Plot Profile.
