Where Spain is located

• It is bordered by France to the northeast and by
  Portugal to the southwest .
• It is also bordered by Mediterranean Sea and the
  Bay of Biscay.
• It takes up 85 of the Liberian peninsula
• It is bordered by Morocco to the south.

• Much of Spain is a high plateau surrounded by
  coastal plains .
• Pyrenees Mountains are in the Northern area of
  Spain.
• The Iberians in the central part of the country
  are a large mountain chain.
• It has a moderate climate with frequent rainfall
  year around.
• The southern half is a Mediterranean climate
  with long dry summers and mild winters.

• Spain also owns the Balearic Islands and the
  Canary Islands .
• People were on the peninsula of Spain as far back
  as 2000 BC and Rome began to take power in 218 BC
  and had total control by the time of Christ.
• They speak four languages in Spain. Spanish,
  Galician, Catalan, and Basque are those 4
  languages
• The Major religion is Roman Catholic which 94
  percent of the population take part in.
