• Parents are William and Elizabeth Quincy Smith
• Abigail had two sisters named Mary and Betsy and
  one brother named Billy
• She always got sick when she was a young girl

• Raising children on her own, managing a farm and
  do household
• Abigail argued for women rights
• Writing letters to her husband

• She married John Adams
• They got married on October 25, 1764
• Abigail had five children
• One of them was the president John Quincy Adams
• John left Abigail to go to Paris and later
  Abigail joined him in Paris
