Services Emergency Fund - Funded through the Health Resources and Services
Administration - FY 2002 Los Angeles received 3.6 million
- FY 2003 Los Angeles received 16.1 million
- FY 2004 Los Angeles receiving 15.5 million
- FY 2005 Los Angeles receiving 15.7 million
3Mission of the NBHPP Grant
- To ready hospitals and supporting health care
systems to deliver coordinated and effective care
to victims of terrorism and other public health
emergencies.
4Regional Surge Capacity for the Care of Adult and
Pediatric Victims of Terrorism
- CB 2-1 Hospital Bed Capacity
- Disaster Resource Centers (Year Two, Three and
Four) - Partnering with Umbrella hospitals, clinics and
provider agencies - Purchase of equipment and supplies
- CB 2-2 Isolation Capacity
- Inventory of isolation capacity (Year Three)
- Hospital identified projects (Year Two)
- Portable tents with isolation capacity for DRCs

constructed a fixed decontamination capability
will still be eligible to receive the funding. - PPE - 13,500
- Decontamination Capability Minimum of 44,220
22Hospital Agreement
- To receive funding each hospital will need to
sign an agreement with the County of Los Angeles.
