ACT 1 Yuci, My 2nd Hometown

• I arrived to the Province of Shanxi, China on
  September 2nd 2004
• I lived in a SMALL city (100,000 people), 6
  hours East of Beijing
• Here I would be one of the few foreigners in the
  city

• Could not make it in the Chinese system
• Dreamt of studying abroad
