INTRODUCTION

•   The word "rickshaw" comes from the Japanese
  "jin riki sha" which means literally man powered
  vehicle.
•       The first cycle rickshaw in Bangladesh
  appeared in the 1930's.
•       It is drived by a man, who is called
  Rickshaw-Puller.
•       This transport is meant for middle class
  people for easy transportation.
•       This three-wheel rickshaw protects the
  environment of the Dhaka City from all kinds of
  air pollution although some time it creates
  traffic hazard.

REPORT
Findings of our project on cycle rickshaw driver
in Dhaka city

•  We had done our survey in Dhaka city exploring
  the daily life experiences of a rickshaw driver
  named Rokon Miah .
• We had also gathered data from other rickshaw
  driver who lived in Dhamrai. We observed that the
  children were suffering in malnutrition.
• The water and sanitation condition were
  tremendously unhealthy.
• Working with the socio-economical condition of a
  rickshaw driver of Dhaka city we must say that
  they are doing hardship to survive.

ACTION
All of us came to an agreement that we will
cooperate with them, help and will never bargain
with rickshaw fare.
