    weapons.
  • United States, Great Britain issue an ultimatum
    Surrender weapons of mass destruction or war.
  • France and Russia vow to veto any USA-backed
    proposal for war in Iraq.

  • March 1, 2003 President Bush orders Saddam
    Hussein and his sons to leave Iraq or face war
  • Bush states that the United Nations Security
    Council has not lived up to its responsibilities.
    So we shall rise to ours.

    dragged through town.

    democratic government must be set up.
  • Coalition Forces will remain in Iraq until
    government is up and running and order is
    restored.
  • Several people are rumored to be in the running
    for Iraqi presidency.
