TKP/SNP ENDSTATE
DESC COMMITTED IN ITS SUPPORT OF USFK EFFORT
Significance The Trans Korean Pipeline (TKP)
is integral to fuel support operations,
particularly during contingency. The ROKG
announced plans to close the TKP on or about 30
Sep 02. For the past 5-6 years USFK, DESC, and
MND have been developing and refining POL support
plans for US Forces Korea during Armistice and
Contingency in a Post-Trans Korea Pipeline
environment. We are still working out the
details of pipeline support in order to close the
TKP. LTC Gaslin, USFK SAPO
