  miles) south-southwest of Santo Domingo in the
  Dominican Republic.
• Alpha was moving northwest about 21 km/hr (14
  mi/hr).

• Tropical Storm Alpha formed Saturday, October 22,
  2005 in the Caribbean, setting the record for the
  most named storms in an Atlantic hurricane
  season.
• This is the first time forecasters had to turn to
  the Greek alphabet for names.
