• Issue -- AAL2 Resource Mgmt (D111, D112, D144)
• Burstiness of AAL2 connections strongly impacts
  link utilisation for a given delay quantile. For
  a fixed delay quantile, utilisation decreases
  with increasing burst size.
• Shaping can be used to control bursts, increase
  utilization
• Connection admission control must be based on
  AAL2 link characteristics (ALC) that describe
  traffic burstiness
• Expected Results -- New I.371 Text on AAL2 RM
• (Developed jointly with Q2/13)
• Q4/13 will also progress work on Draft Rec.
