    cannot afford to be complacent given our fiscal
    responsibilities and other challenges.

  • There are two phases
  • Phase One Jumpstarting Transforming Wichita,
    now through December 2005
  • Phase Two Taking It To The Next Level, from
    January 2006 and beyond
  • In both Phases, the focus will be on identifying,
    producing and promoting RESULTS that matter to
    the citizens of Wichita!

  • Conduct Interviews with internal and external
    stakeholders
  • Identify Results That Matter stories, which
    recognize the Citys successes in delivering
    better service and process improvements
  • Introducing City Council to Budgeting For
    Outcomes
  • Helping design the City Managers Meetings With
    Employees
  • Draft a Strategic Opportunities Report and
  • Holding a Retreat (with City Council Staff)
  • Produce a Transformation Blueprint a roadmap
    setting forth the plan for Phase Two

  • Implement strategic opportunities
  • Develop capacity, build self-sufficiency new
    skills and frameworks
  • Align critical systems and stakeholders
