What is the Book of Mormon

Lehis Family

• Migrated here in Apx. 600 BC
• Decendents split into two great nations
• A The Nephites (The good guys)
• B The Lamanites ( The bad guys)
• These two nations were in conflict for many years
• Christ visited these people and brought peace
• The peace was short-lived and the Lamanites
  became followers of the flesh once again.
• The Lamanites killed all the Nephites with the
  exception of Moroni. He lives to deposit the gold
  plates that tell this history
