school has employed certified teachers and
paraeducators. They are highly qualified and
meet the requirements of the federal No Child
Left Behind and Nebraskas rule 10 expectations.

qualifications of your child's teacher and
teachers. This information can be reviewed in
our Districts Administration Office. Because
research and common sense tell us that quality
teaching is the single most important factor in
helping students learn and achieve, we are

7Driver Safety Tips
- Pull into the parking lot and drive forward as
far as possible. - Always watch for children in front of and behind
the vehicle. - Be patient and courteous with other drivers.
- When parking away from curb, meet children at the
door. - Minimize distractions and NO cell phones.
- Notify the office of changes in arrangements
- and decide ahead of time when possible.

- Call the office
- Give reason for illness

12After School Program
- West Park has the After School Program this year.
This program is available for students in
kindergarten through fifth grade every day that - school is in session.
- Call the school office or Marla Kurtenbach at the
County Extension Office for further information.
13West Park Goals 2006-2007
- Students will improve reading comprehension,
vocabulary, and fluency. - Math achievement will improve for all students.
- Students will show continuous growth in writing.
14West Park is a Schoolwide Title I School. This
Compact is an agreement that helps us all work
