JDRF member Fairfield County since 1998. Junior
Diabetes Research Fellowship is among the largest
charitable supporter of T1D research. Their
research efforts have helped to improve the care
of people suffering from this disease, and now,
they have expanded the scientific understanding
of T1D.

About JDRF and his Role
Ed Tuccio was diagnosed with diabetes when he
was 12 and dedicatedly supports the hope that
there would be a cure for diabetes. He was one of
the walkers at Walk to Cure Diabetes organized by
JDRF. Over the years, Ed Tuccio has continued to
play his part to raise money to fight the
disease. His residential development company,
Tuccio Development, was presenting sponsor for
17th Annual Bill McMahon IV Golf Classic

About Edward Tuccio
Edward J. Tuccio is an experienced real estate
professional and believes in giving back to the
community in all ways he can. He ran the NYC
marathon in 1993. New York Marathon has continued
to be a leader among marathons around the world
and supports a number of charitable programs.

Mr. Tuccio is a dedicated Ridgefield Hockey
Coach and Ridgefield Baseball coach. He also
likes playing golf and has made a hole in one in
Okemo VT in the year 2000. He got the golf
ball into the cup on the green with just one
stroke Presently working as Chief Financial
Officer at Tuccio Development, Inc.
