  was also the Resident in Internal Medicine at the
  University of Illinois Hospital, Chicago from
  1971 to 1977.
• His other appointments include Chief Resident and
  Instructor, Internal Medicine (University of
  Illinois), Attending Physician, Clinician
  (Department of Medicine, Roswell Park Memorial
  Institute, New York), and National Leukemia
  Association Fellow (Memorial Sloan-Kettering
