Universities in 15 countries, to provide mobile
application services across their network through
Mooestro, Orion's Mobile Education Platform.
The product is currently being used at DUOC UC,
a technical and professional training center
located in Santiago, Chile and run by the
Pontifical Catholic University of Chile. DUOC UC
has formally launched their customized version of
Mooestro called "VIVA DUOC", a mobile
application for smartphones that allows students
to see course content, review notes, news and
events, consult books in the library and more.
DUOC UC is the first institution of higher
education in Chile that has access to the
application that is being used by over 12,000
students in its 14 locations. "DUOC UC students
using "VIVA DUOC" have the advantage of
incorporating mobile applications into their
education, which increases their overall
technical knowledge and skills and better
prepares them for their future in the workforce,
