Writing a Letter

Step 1

• Decide if you want to write a letter using paper
  and pencil or if you want to write a letter using
  Microsoft word and print it out.

Step 2

• Decide which Harry Potter character you want to
  write a letter to.
• You could write to Harry, Ron, Hermione, Drako,
  Dumbledore, or any other character in the book.

Step 3

• Make sure you start your letter by writing, Dear
  (and whomever you are writing to)
• Example
• Dear Harry Potter,

Step 4

• Then, in your letter I want you to ask questions
  to whomever you are writing to.
• Examples
• What is Hogwarts like?
• What is it like having an owl as a pet?
• Do you enjoy being a wizard?

Step 5

• Make sure you sign/type your name at the end of
  the letter so I know who wrote it.

Remember

• Use neat handwriting!
• Do not forget to put the proper punctuation at
  the end of your questions.
• You will be getting a response to your questions,
  so put questions you are interested in hearing
  the answer to.
• Have fun writing!
