Prior to the interview do some research about the
company profile and what is their mission
statement.
If you know who will be in the interview panel.
Research about their profiles and interest areas.

Tip 2 Introduce Yourself The Best Way

In almost all group job interviews, the ice
breaking question is Tell me about yourself.
Take advantage of this and prepare a introduction
for yourself and rehearse it well.
Try making your story interesting and dont miss
out on highlighting your key achievements and
skill sets.
Do not sound as if you have rehearsed the
introduction. Make sure that your introduction
sounds natural.

Tip 3 Start Talking to Others

In a group interview chances are the all
candidates are sitting in a room nervous and
silent. Take this opportunity to quickly start a
casual talk to other candidates in the room.
This small gesture will show the employer that
you are a good communicator along with being
confident.
Plus other candidates will feel all the more
nervous seeing your confidence and charisma.

Tip 4 Carry Some Essential Things

Do not forget to copy 4 to 5 copies of your
resume.
Bring a pen and notebook to the interview. There
is nothing more embarrassing than asking for a
pen while group discussion is going on.
Take notes whenever you feel its important. Do
not overdo this otherwise it will look as if you
are not paying attention.
Never carry your resume or other documents in
hand. Make sure to invest a couple of dollars to
buy a good folder and properly file up all the
docs. So that when the interviewer asks you can
quickly hand out your documents. Without feeling
embarrassed about carrying a crinkled roll of
resume in your hand.

Carry blank thank you cards with you to the group
job interview.
Once the interview gets over. You can handout
your thank you card to the interviewers.
Thank them for their time. Plus also add a line
reiterating your interest in the job.
