• Jack Vettriano is a popular Scottish painter and
  artist who has merits of great painter and an
  interesting career in the painting and applied
  arts. The painter has exceptionally large fan
  following, and which is primary the reason

  his work. Today, Vettriano prints are quite
  popularly reproduced paintings that have

• Vettriano has created most of his oil paintings

• Jack Vettriano was born and brought up in the
  industrial seaside town of Methil, Fife. Jack
  spent early years of his life in poverty with his
  mother and father and elder brother, living on
  the edge at the spartan miners cottage. It was
  the hard times and Jack while still at 10 years
  of age delivering papers and milk, cleaning
  windows, picking potatoes and several other petty
  jobs that could fetch him money to sustain his
  family.
• Vettriano did not have the natural interest in
  paintings except that only in the 1970s, when his
  girlfriend gifted her with water colors on his
  21st birthday. It was during this time that Jack
  had his first tryst with painting. Some of his
  earliest were produced by him under his birth
  name Jack Hoggan.
