such as Australia or New Zealand.

57
Lessons Learned
  • Call the specific Passenger Terminals you plan on
departing from for information concerning flights
    and frequencies.

    base.
  • Requires additional temporary permit displayed
    on dashboard.

Going from major terminal to major terminal may
get you to your destination faster.
  • Charleston AFB
  • Dover AFB
  • Ramstein AB

60
Lessons Learned
  • Add several extra days of Leave to the end of
your travel, in case of flight delays and

    crews.

  • Get a phone card after arriving overseas.
  • Inform Credit Card companies that you will be
    traveling overseas.
  • Get a EuroRail pass in the U.S. ahead of time.

64
Lessons Learned
  • Remember, the mission of any AMC flight takes a
higher priority than accommodating Space A.
  • Be flexible.
  • Conditions may warrant an unscheduled change.

65
Lessons Learned
  • Relax and be patient.
  • If you are unable to do that, you should
reconsider your decision to try Space A.
  • Space A should not be your first choice of travel
if you absolutely, positively have to be
    somewhere on time.

66
Space A is an Adventure
  • Be open to changes in your itinerary.
  • Your attitude will make the difference.
