director and music by the internationally
renowned Morgan State University Choir, under the
direction of Dr. Eric Conway. Plus 2 Independent
Showcases featuring Maryland artists.

What is NALI?
- NALI is a professional development initiative for
- the presenting field that is
- Providing knowledge that strengthens all
participants in the presenting fieldartists,
their agents or managers, and presenters - Utilizing the passion of experienced
professionals to share their working knowledge
with the next generation - Creating a learning community outside of formal
academic study
At PAE, NALI presents 3 mornings of timely
workshops and roundtables included with your
PAE Registration. NALI is a collaborative
partnership among the Southern Arts Federation,
the Thomas S. Kenan Institute for the Arts at the
North Carolina School of the Arts, and the
Institute for the Management of Creative
Enterprise at Carnegie Mellon University.
8NALI curriculum is organized into three levels of
courses
- NALI 101 104
- A series of four beginning survey courses,
designed for those who have little or no
background in performing arts presenting. - NALI 200 level
- Designed for beginning/mid-level and advanced
presenters with more experience, but who need
more specialized/in-depth exposure to major
issues. - NALI 300 level
- Designed for artists and managers, as well as
presenters, focusing on topics and issues where
the needs of all three interest groups overlap.
