  • Are they spacious enough

  • Doors, windows, closets all working properly

  • Adequate number of bathrooms
  • At least one on every floor
  • Proper fittings and water heating
  • Electrical sockets and connections insulated and
    working

  • Appliances such as stove, refrigerator, disposal,
    dishwasher, and microwave
  • Shelf and counter space, electrical outlets, and
    storage areas  
  • Dining space should adequate inside or outside
    kitchen

  • Look for major cracks, loose or falling plaster,
    and any signs of leaks or stains.

  • Check to see that windows and doors have adequate
    locks and open and close properly.
