To have good dictionary skills in French you need
to get lots of practice in using a French
dictionary by yourself. The more practice, the
more successful a language learner youll become.
Youll also be able to use other language
dictionaries in the same way!

designed for 11 to 16 year old French language
learners.

dictionary

• To find the meaning of French words you dont
  know.
• To check how to spell French words you know.
• To find out if a French noun is masculine or
  feminine.
• To find out if a noun has an unusual plural in
  French.
• To see whether a word is a noun, a verb, or an
  adjective.
• To find the French equivalent of an English word.
• To find example sentences showing how French
  words are used.
• To learn information about France and the French
  language.
• To look up useful lists (the days, the months,
  numbers, colours, etc).

language learning. It also helps you to find the
