• Before beginning the course I would like to give
  you just a few tips on how to best use the
  PowerPoint presentations at this site.
  
• The lectures are based on the same notes I use in
  teaching the class at Rogers State University.

• As you go through the presentations you should
  take notes (writing the key points has a way of
  concentrating the mind).
  
• Do not try to print these slides off, you will
  waste paper and gain little.

• Most of the material in these presentations does
  not appear in the texts.
  
• Much of it will appear on your examinations.

• The other PowerPoint Presentations for this
  course are password protected.
  
• The sign-on and password for these presentations
  will be given out in the first few class
  meetings, or you can e-mail me a request.

• If you are using a slow modem, you can press the
  A button below.
  
• Text will give you much faster download times,
  though the screens are not as pretty.

• If you are in text and nothing appears on the
  slide, it means that there is a graphic--either a
  picture or a graph--return to graphics mode to
  view the slide.

  the Home Page of the course, Fast Forward,
  and Rewind.
  
• Remember, all of the material at this site is
  intended to aid you in mastering the material. I
  want you to do well.
