Title: Technology Day
1Technology Day
2Welcome to Eaton Park Technology Day! Our
Destination Stations greet you with PowerPoints!
3The student and teacher portfolios provide a
tempting taste of what lies ahead in the
classroom.
4Grab a snack then youre on your way!
5One last glance in the lobby reveals a First
Grade science Power Point about tadpoles.
6Even the old IBMs contributed to the show. This
welcome banner was constructed by Mrs. Pams
third grade class.
7We start at the beginning of our school.
Kindergarten learns the rules. Computer center
is one of their favorites.
8In Fourth Grade, the stakes are higher. We are
using our computers for research.
9Mrs. Heberts projector is just the trick to help
the whole class see the computer quick.
10Computers are used for a purpose as you can see.
Mrs. Hebert explains the purpose to me.
11Third graders love to join in the fun.
Organization can be done in Inspiration.
12We all use the computers by taking turns.
Computers are just helpers in the day as we learn.
13Mr. Hebert is curious. He cant help but wonder
what we are learning now.
14Ryan is typing. He loves to learn in Mrs.
Shawris room.
15Parents supported their children again. Hollys
Mom was very proud of the work she did in
SchoolView.
16Old or new, we dont care. We use all the
computers and are sure to share.
17In Mrs. Crystals room, the visitors came. Each
parent plays a part in the educational game.
18Teachers and assistants work together all day.
This cooperation promotes teamwork and learning.
19One computer, no problem. We know how to
cooperate.
20Three heads are better than one.
21So much to see, so little time.
22Even the administration shows their support.
They are never too busy to watch success.
23Mrs. Reaux explains the daily routine. We
incorporate learning along with machines.
24Even at computers, we work as a team. We learn
from each other.
25Ok, so we forgot to change the ink cartridge. No
problem, Mrs. Hebert has a spare.
26These red folders are a record of our reading.
Accelerated Reader allows us to track our
progress.
27To show our parents what we are capable of, we
created postcards for them on the computers.
28Even if there is only one laptop, its not the
amount that counts, its how you use it.
29These new computers are so nice and having five
computers we get to use them twice.
30Mrs. Lisa supports the Special Ed crew. Learning
disabled students have a right to technology too.
31Fourth Grade postcards were a sight to see. This
ones a work in progress.
32Student work can easily be displayed for the
whole class to see with our new projectors.
33This laptop connects to the projector so we can
display what we do.
34Mrs. Erins computers have SchoolView. The
children can use them to practice and review.
35We also take turns on the newer computers to
learn new things.
36Were glad that you came visit, but weve got
work to do. We hope that you come back again
soon!
