  • Required for all direct to program candidates
  • Offered on campus to qualified candidates after
    the application deadline
  • Students will be notified at a later date
    regarding specifics of the exam

Pre-Nursing Option
  • Candidates have not finished all prerequisite
    courses and would like to finish them at MSMC
  • Students will take classes over the course of one
    academic year and be eligible for admission the
    following fall
  • Does not guarantee admission to the BSN program,
    however, more spaces are available for
    pre-nursing students

Repeat Policy
  • A student may repeat a prerequisite course no
    more than once
  • Failure (C- and below) of any two required
    prerequisite courses or one course twice renders
    an applicant ineligible for the Nursing programs
    at Mount St. Marys College

    each
  • RN to BSN program 1 to 2 years
  • Must hold RN license
  • Must have graduated from accredited college with
    an ADN

  • N40 Roy adaptation model offered in summer and
    spring
