How it works
  • Streptococcus Pyogenes, Strep Throat for short,
    is common among many kids and teenagers.
  • The causes are mainly transmitted from one
    infected person to another
  • Symptoms usually occur 1 to 3 days after being
    infected.

Symptoms
  • Red Throat
  • Tonsils are enlarged and red
  • Headaches
  • Lower stomach pains
  • Fever
  • Loss of appetite
  • Muscle pains

Treatments
  • Drink enough fluids
  • Gargle with salt water
  • Use NSAIDs (nonsterodid anti-inflammatory drugs)
  • Get extra sleep

Preventions
  • Keep eating utensils, dishes, and drinking
    glasses separate
  • Cover nose and mouth when sneezing
  • Wash hands frequently
  • Dont share foods, drinks, napkins, or towels
