• Happy Scientific Mothers Day
• Activity Worksheet Make a Science Mothers Day
  Card
• Combine your love for science with your love for
  mom!
• Design a greeting card for your mom or an
  important adult female mother figure in your
  life. You must use at least 15 science terms
  from Mrs. Magees science class in the text of
  your card. The terms must be underlined and used
  correctly, indicating that you know the meaning
  of each.
• Cards must be computer generated. No hand
  written cards will be accepted. One graphic or
  drawing should be on the outside and one graphic
  should be on the inside. The art should match
  one or more of the words or the overall theme of
  the card.
• You must also prepare a definition key on the
  back of your card. Make sure you sign the card.

• Mom,
• Your smile shines brighter than a spiral galaxy.
  Your love is a renewable resource that can be
  used over and over again without running out. It
  comes from within you like magma from within the
  earths mantle. As I go through my rotations and
  revolutions in life, you are like the moon
  orbiting me and making sure that I am loved
  during times of high tide and low tide. When I
  feel as pressured as a metamorphic rock, you are
  always there even after the heat and pressure has
  changed me. My life would be a black hole
  without you. As I reflect on my life, I hope
  that nothing will ever pollute our symbiosis. If
  there was ever a rift valley between us, it would
  break my heart. I am so happy that I have
  inherited your traits. Because of you, our
  family is compacted and cemented together like
  sedimentary rock.
