Create an Icon
  • Go to the desktop
  • Right click anywhere
  • Select New, then Create Shortcut
  • Key in this URL http//www.palomar.edu/training
    into the location box
  • Select Next
  • Type in a name for the shortcut
  • Click Finish
  • Select OK and you are done!

Changing the Resolution Exercise
  • Right click anywhere on the screen.
  • Select Properties, then select the Settings tab
  • Choose 1024 X 768, then apply
  • Say yes when asked to make it permanent
  • Now Open IE and go to your favorite web site.

Steps to Clear IE Cache
  • Click on Tools
  • Select Internet Options
  • In the middle of the General tab, ltDelete Filesgt
    in the Temporary Internet files section
  • Check the box that opens with the instruction
    Delete all offline content.
  • Click ltokgt in the Delete Files box and ltokgt in
    the Internet Options box to complete the process
