- circling the majors they are interested in
- crossing off the majors they are not interested
in - putting a question mark next to the majors they
have no clue what they are - putting stars next to the two majors that
interest them the most - Students are allotted 10 15 minutes to ask
advisors about majors while completing their
elimimajor sheet

- Uses Choices Planner under Florida Department
of Education Website www.bridges.com/cpflorida - Gives students a chance to narrow down a list of
potential careers based on interests, skills,
earnings, and work values - Students can click on careers to find out
specifics including job duties, skills needed,
potential majors, and job outlook - Students are encouraged to write down careers
that they would like to investigate further

- Each advisor represents a different mate (major)
- Students have the opportunity to meet with two
mates for 10 minutes - Students use this time to ask questions about the
