  • After entering Learning Outcomes, press Submit.
  • The course comes to YOU as Coordinator.
  • As Coordinator, review the course.
  • If all is OK, submit to OBR or return to Faculty
    for further details.

Course Creation Process Complete!
  • If you follow these steps, you will have entered
    your courses into the CEMS database.
  • Once the courses are submitted to OBR, a CTAG
    staff member reviews the material. If complete,
    it is forwarded to Validation Center
    Coordinator-VCC (Rob Speckert is VCC for
    Engineering Technology)

Course Approval Process
  • Validation Center Coordinator reviews course to
    make sure all sections are complete.
  • Special attention is paid to the learning
    outcomes. (Please describe how the course
    addresses each learning outcome.)
  • If all looks good, the course is forwarded to
    review panel. This is a panel of faculty.
  • If approved by panel, VCC sends to OBR for
    publication.
  • If not approved, it is returned to campus
    coordinator with explanation of what is needed.
