Faculty. - After entering Learning Outcomes, press Submit.
- The course comes to YOU as Coordinator.
- As Coordinator, review the course.
- If all is OK, submit to OBR or return to Faculty
for further details.
36Course Creation Process Complete!
- If you follow these steps, you will have entered
your courses into the CEMS database. - Once the courses are submitted to OBR, a CTAG
staff member reviews the material. If complete,
it is forwarded to Validation Center
Coordinator-VCC (Rob Speckert is VCC for
Engineering Technology)
37Course Approval Process
- Validation Center Coordinator reviews course to
make sure all sections are complete. - Special attention is paid to the learning
outcomes. (Please describe how the course
addresses each learning outcome.) - If all looks good, the course is forwarded to
review panel. This is a panel of faculty. - If approved by panel, VCC sends to OBR for
publication. - If not approved, it is returned to campus
coordinator with explanation of what is needed.
