6CHALLENGE
- Inadequate Number of Fields and Facilities within
the school district and community - Extensive growth in district over last 10 years
- Lack of town resources forces both school and
recreational athletics to be held at the district
facilities - Disadvantage for our Athletes within Section 1
- 70 of Section 1 teams have at least one
FieldTurf facility enabling them to practice
outside and simulate real game conditions.
Brewster only school district in Putnam County
without it and in the spring generally their
first time on a field is for their first game
posing a huge disparity.
