Dont forget to click out of a box or drop down
menu to avoid accidental changes made by using
the universal scroll on a mouse.
3From WebAdvisor Registration, you can
- Search for Course Sections to view schedule of
courses being offered before registering - Registration Eligibility Information lists your
registration appointment date/time, your academic
status, and any registration holds - Register add classes to a registration shopping
cart called Preferred Sections - Manage My Waitlist lets you easily remove classes
from a waitlist - New semester-base term structure provides you the
opportunity to register for both semester
sessions in advance
4From the Chapman home page, login to WebAdvisor
via Student Resources or through QuickLinks.
Click Go to continue.
5Before logging in, reading the About WebAdvisor
page is recommended. Click Login to WebAdvisor
link.
6To proceed click the LOG IN tab.
7Enter your User ID and Password.Click Submit to
continue.
8Select Students from the main menu.
9From WebAdvisor for Student Menu, go to
Registration.Click on one of the links.
10Registration Eligibility - displays your priority
registration date/ start time, current
hold/restrictions and academic standing. Clear
any current holds/restrictions before
registering. You are assigned two priority
registrations one for session I and one for
session II. The start dates and times assigned
are the same for both sessions. Click Student
Menu tab.
You can only register for one semester session at
a time. You will need to complete your
registration for session I and then return to the
registration menu to register for classes in
session ll.
11Search for Course Section - You can view courses
that are being offered in a session at your
campus, at other campus locations and online
courses, before you register or meet with your
advisor. Select Term, Location and Academic
Level to view a list of courses.Click Submit to
continue.
12Register for Courses Sections - select
University College Students link.
13Select Search Build Preferred List to create
your class schedule for registration. You can
show your advisor your schedule before your
priority registration date time and make any
adjustment during your advising meeting.
14Prior to Registration, WebAdvisor prompts
verification of current student information. If
all information is accurate select Continue to
Registration.
You can update your address, change your program
(major), or transfer to a different campus
location by selecting one of the links above.
15Current home location will appear as the default
registration location.
16If registering for a different campus location in
your area or online class (292-Electronic
Instruction), select the location from the drop
down menu. Click Submit to continue.
17Select Term and Academic level to search for
courses.Leave additional fields blank to avoid
narrowing search too much. Click Submit to
continue.
18Choose course(s) by checking box in Select
Section(s) column to the left. To review a course
description and check for prerequisite before
registration, click on link under Section Name
and Title column. Click Submit to continue.
19 Preferred Sections - lists the course(s) you
selected to register in the upcoming semester
session. Current Registration- lists the
course(s) you are currently registered. Click
Submit to continue.
20Select an Action (a registration/grading option)
from Preferred Sections.
21 After indicating an Action from Preferred
Sections list, you are ready to continue
registration. You may also Drop any course from
your Current Registration (check calendar for
Drop deadline). Click SUBMIT to complete
registration and process Drop transaction.
Dont forget to click out of the Action box to
avoid accidental changes when using the universal
scroll on your mouse.
22WebAdvisor will present you with your
registration confirmation.
Before exiting this screen, verify you selected
correct registration/grading option. Contact your
campus or email registrar_at_chapman.edu if you made
an error.
23or WebAdvisor will indicate any issues with your
registration selections.
24If any registration issues are indicated, select
blank as registration Action to keep course on
your Preferred List. Contact the
Department/Office to remove hold on your record.
25If you clear the hold from your record, return to
Register for Course Sections and select Register
from Preferred List to complete your
registration.
26When registration is complete this is your final
RegistrationReceipt. Print for your records and
ensure all requested information is accurate
(i.e. grading options, credits, etc.) Click
Student Menu to conduct other student
transaction.
- The first portion shows registrations just
occurred. - The middle portion lists all the classes
currently registered. - The last portion lists waitlisted classes.
27To register for courses in Term - Session
II,click on the Student Menu tab to return to
Register for Course Sections.
28Manage My Waitlist allows you to monitor courses
in which youre currently waitlisted or to remove
yourself from a waitlist. You may also drop
yourself from a currently registered course.
Click Submit to continue.
29When finished with all registration transactions,
always LOG OUT.
