Principles for Planning
  • All programs, including degrees, certificates and
    endorsements, will exceed national and University
    System norms
  • All programs designed to prepare teacher leaders
    and school or system level leaders will be of
    demonstrable high quality
  • All things being equal and within the boundaries
    of high quality, the production of new certified
    teachers will be the BCOEs highest priority

Principles for Planning
  • Helping faculty succeed is to be considered
    fundamental to all planning assumptions
  • Helping students meet their educational goals is
    the reason we exist!
  • Words matter- productive interactions among all
    of the PTEU faculty and staff makes for stronger
    individual performance, effective teamwork and a
    better quality of professional life
  • What we do and how we do it makes a difference
    for everyone we touch!

  • Expanding the MAT more teachers in the
    classroom

    all PTEU members
  • Defining the appropriate QEP initiatives for the
    BCOE and the PTEU partners

    starting a new special event
  • Completing Assessment Rubrics (Chalk Wire)
  • Getting deeply engaged in distance education
  • Hiring a Dean
